Trinity celebrates the inauguration of its new organ in the Chapel of All Saints in Trinity Church. Trinity selected Richards, Fowkes & Co. of Ooltewah, Tennessee, to build a 19-stop, two manual and pedal organ with an unusual design. The new instrument’s chief feature is its quarter-comma meantone tuning, which creates an essential ingredient for the sound-world of western music’s earliest keyboard repertoire. Concerts in celebration of this new instrument will include works by Monteverdi, Bach, Bruhns, Rosenmüller , Gabrieli and Schütz.
Please note that there will be TWO performances: in-person at 6 pm, and streaming online at 7 pm
